SereneTea Gardens - Leafies 2025 – Gaia Award Winner
SereneTea Gardens was awarded the Leafies 2025 – Gaia Award by the UK Tea Academy, at the awards ceremony held on 16 January 2026.
The Gaia Award recognises excellence in sustainability, environmental stewardship, and ethical practices within the global tea industry. Receiving this honour as a small, single-estate, handmade tea producer from Sri Lanka is both humbling and motivating.
We thank the Leafies team and UK Tea Academy for this recognition, and we share this achievement with our dedicated workers and partners who make sustainable, values-driven tea possible.

A Proud Milestone for SereneTea Gardens
In 2025, our Black Tea Blossom received a 1-star at the UK Great Taste Awards — our very first submission to a global competition.
This recognition reflects the care, craft, and community spirit behind every batch we produce from our single estate in Sri Lanka.
We thank everyone who has supported us on this journey, including Ms. Jane Milton and the Ceylon Artisanal Tea Association for their kind guidance.
