On the 7th and 8th of July 2024, we had the privilege of visiting Ebony Springs in Nawalapitiya, Sri Lanka, renowned for producing high-quality artisanal tea. It is owned and operated by Mr. Bernard Holsinger, a veteran tea planter with over 50 years of experience in the industry who currently serves as a Freelance Tea Manufacturing Consultant. During our visit, Mr. Holsinger generously shared his extensive knowledge, offering invaluable advice on artisanal tea production and tea tasting. His insights into the craftsmanship behind fine tea made the experience truly enriching. We are also deeply grateful for the warm hospitality of both Mr. and Mrs. Holsinger during our stay at Ebony Springs Tea Holding and Homestay.
