SereneTea Gardens is a Small and Medium enterprise dedicated to producing innovative handmade teas using finest tender leaf and bud that then carefully hand crafted into a standard of a tea. SereneTea also blend with herbs known as "[Hela Osu Herbs]." These herbs are grown in a serene sanctuary to provide a meditative experience for tea enthusiasts, both local and international.

Our vibrant hub of innovation, SereneTea is situated in the serene village of Kiriporuwa, in Eheliyagoda amid the lush beauty of Ratnapura District in Sabaragamuwa Province.

Meet the Visionaries Behind SereneTea

Shiromi and Kithsiri are adept professionals in the legal and engineering domains. However, beneath the surface of their fast-paced careers, a deep longing for the tranquillity of nature pulsed within their hearts. As they contemplated their retirement, their gaze turned towards finding a slice of land in a serene environment, where the gentle whispers of nature could soothe their souls and offer respite from the whirlwind of their professional lives.

With the aid of a few underprivileged villagers from the vicinity, they started transforming raw earth of a barren land into a picturesque array of tea plants, simultaneously offering sustenance to the workers. With meticulous care, they handcrafted each blend, not only tea but also some other herbs flourishing on the land, infusing every jar with a story of dedication and love for nature.
